unable start installation

Unable to start installation

I have been unable to start the installation of Vista Beta 2 in XP. It just sits at the please wait screen. It does not move forward. I left it running for 8 hrs last night thinking that I wasn't waiting long enough and it was still sitting there. I shut off as many services and programs that I could but it didn't help.

It could be bad burn, try reburning the ISO at a low speed. Also, could extract the contents of the ISO to a folder and run Setup from it. Try disabling any attached external/usb based devices, Vista might be trying to detect them. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
